Translation issues

A translation issue is simply a wrong translation.

Language testers report translation issues.
They enter the fields as specified in the selected quality profile.
A quality profile is derived from a quality framework (e.g. DQF or MQM).
It specifies the selectable error categories and severity levels.

Translation issues are usually corrected by translators.

Translation issues are presented at various levels:
  1. Review packs,
  2. Review pack and/or
  3. Review task.
Depending on your role, you can view, edit and/or delete linguistic issues., including the severity and error categories.

Example

Language testers can report translation issues during a language test. For example, the term "Grind" is translated here like "Sharpen [a knife]", but the actual context is to "Grind coffee beans".
